Today we celebrate our ancestral heritage and understanding the challenges we have faced over 300 years as BLACK people. We want to encourage everyone to love the skin you are in even while embracing your imperfection! Being able to accept your flaws while persisting and maintaining an effective effort shows power. The power of Blackness is pure, its vibrations are yielding growth and fortitude. Knowing your worth and not limiting who you are creates self-efficacy and motivation.

We are BLACK by popular demand! Resilience is a part of our attitude. Being challenged and judged because of WHO we are and how the melanin in our skin glow is not our problem. We need to embrace the power we possess that often intimidates others we encounter.  The victimization of BLACKS, enslavement, the separation of BLACK families, racism, classism, sexism, are all stones thrown to intimidate us and to make us feel inferior.

NOT today or any day moving forward! We will continue to spread joy and love throughout our communities while embracing the beauty of who we are and the challenges we have overcome. Yes we are BLACK by popular demand!
